Well, the latest ‘Case Closed’ episode “The Hand That Plays in Dissonance” was aired on 8th August, 2009. It was great suspense thriller. I have never found any episode better than this one.
In this episode, Ran attends a concert with Conan and Kongoro, and while searching for a CD in a storage room, finds a lead vocalist dead. It was a murder case and Inspector Megure, Takagi, Chiba, and Tome all turn up and found that the man was murdered inside a locked room. Green crayon was found on the body and also some odd stains.
As the time was passing by, the question was becoming bigger, ‘What would be next’? It was quite difficult for me to find the connections between the marks and circumstances but the way Canon throws light in the dark room was an example of intelligence. I am much impressed by his quality of intuition and finding out the truth. I know that you too like him very much and are fans of his outstanding intellect.
The next episode, “A Witch Yelling in the Fog (Part 1)”, of Case Closed season 18 is going to be aired on 5th September, 2009. It will be the 545th episode of the show. That’s a huge achievement and show is still able to make people crazy.

Case Closed is a popular detective anime and manga series of Japanese origin, created by Gosha Aoyama.
The plot is all about Jimmy Kudo, who is a junior at Titan High School, alongside being a popular detective in the nation. Once, while hanging out at an amusement park with Rachel Moore, he sees a crime happening, and decides to get at the bottom of it. The people of the mysterious organization attempt to kill him as he may spell trouble for them. But the poison with which they drug him (a new one, which they learn would not be detected if an autopsy is conducted), makes his body size smaller from seventeen year old to just seven year old. He is distressed and seeks guidance of his neighbor Dr. Agasa, a scientist, who advises him to stay away from Rachel (hiding his identity from everyone), as the killers might come again, and also asks him to stay with Richard Moore (a detective and Rachel’s father).
Hence,` Jimmy takes up a new identity by the name of “Conan Edogawa” to unearth the mystery that had caused his condition.
